I accept some issue with RemoteApp and Desktop Connectedness, I can download the .rdp file on my MAC but it still just download the file even I take installed the Microsoft Remote Desktop and choosen to use it when open up the .rdp file. What exercise I do wrong? Its on a Windows Server 2012

Even creating .rdp files on my PC and using the MRD app on my Mac to import the file results in no connection betwixt the two devices. I only cannot fathom why this app refuses to work past manually entering the data or using the import function.
